Jin has served on the KIPP San Diego Board since 2012, and is responsible for managing risk across the organization and working with other board members to increase organizational visibility among stakeholders in the community. Jin’s immigrant experience has made her a strong advocate for justice and opportunity and she believes that along with an excellent education, schools can provide supports in areas where there are gaps in a child’s developmental experience. She continues to champion KIPP San Diego’s KIPP Through College Program, which helps KIPPsters navigate the road to and through high school and college.
Jin currently serves as lead attorney at the DOJ on consumer protection investigations. Previously, she clerked for Ninth Circuit Judge Hon. Barry Moscowitz, was a visiting Assistant Professor at Thomas Jefferson School of Law and worked at two different law firms as an Associate on discrimination, wrongful termination and harassment cases. Jin earned her BA from Yale University and her JD at NYU School of Law.
