The mission of KTC San Diego is to support students and alumni in leveraging their knowledge, skills, and character strengths necessary to attain their educational and career goals, and lead choice-filled lives.
In keeping with our promise to prepare our students for college and the world beyond, we offer a comprehensive KIPP Through College Program. KIPP Through College (KTC) is a part of the broader KIPP approach that helps to eliminate the opportunity gap for students from underserved communities. Our KTC program offers comprehensive support for KIPP students and their families beginning in middle school all the way through college. KTC programs offer a range of services, yet implement them in unique ways based on local student needs.
The KIPP Through College team provides ongoing, data-driven, personalized support for KIPPsters to gain admission to and graduate from the high schools and colleges that are right for them. Adelante continually improves programming through feedback provided by the KTC team about challenges our KIPPsters face in their academic lives beyond our halls.
